All of the major doctrines of patent law were well established before Confederation. Ken will provide us with an entertaining and informative look at the origins of patent principles, and the historical evolution of patent law.
Ken Bousfield is a partner at Bereskin & Parr, LLP, where his practice is focused on mechanical and electro-mechanical patents. He has a B.A.Sc. (Mech. Eng., Waterloo) and an LL.B (Toronto). He has practiced law for 22 years, and frequently presents on the origins and development of patent law for universities, professional associations and government bodies.
