Hon. Marshall Rothstein: The Constant of Change in Canadian Intellectual Property Law

Please join the TIPG in welcoming the Honourable Marshall Rothstein, QC as he discusses his views on the role of change in patent, trademark and copyright law.

Mr. Rothstein is a leading figure in Canadian IP law. He was a Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada from March 2006 to August 2015, where he heard cases in several areas of intellectual property law, including Masterpiece v Alavida, Sanofi v Apotex and Alberta v Access Copyright. He sat on the Federal Court of Appeal from 1999 until his appointment to the Supreme Court.
